Our Mission
Deliver peace and comfort through compassionate care and service.

Black Hills Hospice is an independent, locally led hospice based in Rapid City. Led by a local veteran physician and an experienced hospice team, our clinicians have cared for families across the Black Hills for many years, and our roots in this community shape how we show up every day.

Who We Are

We are nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and volunteers — neighbors who live in the same towns as the families we serve. Black Hills Hospice is led by clinicians who have built longstanding relationships with patients, families, and providers throughout Rapid City and the Black Hills.

Our Philosophy

Hospice is not about giving up. It is about helping people live as fully and comfortably as possible while surrounded by the people, beliefs, routines, and places that matter most. We work closely with community physicians to provide coordinated, personalized hospice care for each family we serve.
